Organized in partnership with the Moroccan Agency for Investment Development (MIDA), the conference aims to promote North Africa as a key destination for foreign investors, identify new investment projects on the continent and support Morocco's position as a gateway to African markets.

This forum is also an opportunity to share best practices, meet potential customers and partners, and learn about new business opportunities and investments in growth sectors.

A true bridge between Africa and Europe

According to the organisers, the choice of Morocco to host the first edition of WIC North Africa is not a coincidence. The Kingdom has implemented a raft of reforms to improve the business climate in the country, modernizing the financial markets, improve the attractiveness and infrastructure to international standards.

Moreover, its strategic geographical position and the multiple free trade agreements it has signed the position today as a regional business center and missed a real bridge between Europe and Africa.

WIC participants in North Africa in 2013 will discuss topics that are at the forefront of investors, governments and business communities of North Africa for the next three years: Growth, constraints, opportunities and action plans.

On the sidelines of the conference workshops will address more specific topics such as automotive, aerospace, energy and the environment, services and new technologies, skills and entrepreneurship.
