Wide police dragnet in Casablanca with more than a thousand arrests in a week
The various services of the Judicial Police of the Grand Casablanca managed during a wide dragnet to arrest in a week, from 17 to 25 January, over a thousand people for various crimes, said a communication spokesman in the prefecture of police.

Those arrested included a total of 1,032 people in flagrante delicto, sought for or involved in various crimes, according to the results of operations against crime in all its forms.
Thus, 459 people were arrested in for theft and attempted theft in all its forms (74), trafficking, possession and consumption of drugs (150), assault (2), Economic and Financial Crimes (33) and for various other crimes (200), said the same source.
It was also ended the run of the 537persons wanted for thefts and attempted thefts (154), trafficking, possession and consumption of drugs (51), battery (32), Economic and Financial Crimes (222) and for various other crimes (114). Crime Squad made 86 prefectural arrests including 47 in flagrante delicto.
