Unconditional remand in custody with no bail for four alleged members of terrorist cell smashed by Moroccan and Spanish police

Madrid - Judge of the National Audience, highest criminal court in Spain, Ismael Moreno decided on Monday an unconditional remand in custody with no bail for the four alleged members of the cell sending Jihadists to Syria, Mali, and other hot spots of tension, smashed Friday by the Moroccan and Spanish police, legal sources said in Madrid.

The judge ordered to imprison the four accused people who were arrested in Melilla and Malaga, namely the cell's mastermind Mustafa Maya Amaya, a Spanish of Belgian origin, two French nationals and a Tunisian.

During the operation, conducted in close coordination between the Moroccan and Spanish security services, seven people were arrested, including the leader of the cell residing Melilla and two Frenchmen. Three other members of the cell were arrested in Morocco.
