Two Polish Companies Voice Will to Invest in Morocco’s Southern Provinces

Warsaw - Two Polish companies have expressed their interest in investing in the southern provinces of Morocco. During a visit Tuesday in Glowno in central Poland to companies manufacturing containers for civil and military use, fire engines and transport and logistics equipment, the Moroccan ambassador in Warsaw Abderrahim Atmoun signed a declaration of intent for the launch of a production unit in the Southern provinces of the Kingdom.

The declaration was also inked by CEO of Chimide Polska, Krzysztof Teodor Biesiadecki and Zbigniew Siuśta, member of the board of Zamet-Glowno, a statement from the Moroccan embassy in Warsaw said. Krzysztof Teodor Biesiadecki explained the choice to settle in Morocco by "the stability enjoyed by the Kingdom, its development dynamics and the bold reforms undertaken by HM King Mohammed VI".

The Moroccan diplomat seized this opportunity to highlight the investment potential and business opportunities offered by the Kingdom, which has become a real hub for the African market. In this regard, Atmoun said that the Southern provinces of the Kingdom have become attractive investment area, thanks to the several fiscal and geographic advantages offered.

The Polish delegation, which has expressed its interest in investing in Morocco, has expressed its will to make a prospecting visit to the Kingdom in the near future. According to the embassy’s statement, Zamet Głowno and Chimide Polska also specialize in setting up field hospitals.

They have jointly implemented more than 2,500 projects and cooperate with the Polish Ministry of National Defense, the Land Forces Command, the Navy and the Polish State Fire Service.
