Turkish National Arrested in Med V Int'l Airport for Drug Smuggling
Rabat - Security services on Sunday arrested a Turkish national in the Mohammed V International airport in Casablanca in possession of 10.7 kg of chira (cannabis resin), police sources said.
The 35-year-old suspect was arrested before his departure to Istanbul following a search operation that led to the seizure of the banned substance in his luggage, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) pointed out in a statement.
The statement added that the arrested was remanded in custody for the purposes of the investigations.
