The Tunisian businessman who made his fortune in the movie industry international Tarek Ben Ammar, has expressed his desire to develop a media project, presumably audio-visualin Morocco.
According to the African web media, IT News Africa, Ben Ammar's project aims to create a pan-Arab independent television across North Africa and the Middle East.
The businessman who returned with Silvio Berlusconi in the capital of Tunisia's small Nessma TV channel,has since been eyeing Morocco, because it has the advertising market of the Maghreb.
Tarek Ben Ammar, who acts as a consultant to Vivendi, and with the Saudi billionaire Prince Walid bin Talal, is on the way to building a media empire, evidenced by the purchase transaction with the Egyptian chain ONTV he has concluded with its owner, Coptic billionaire Najib Sawiris.
