Tunisia: Security forces hunting armed group in central province
Tunisian special forces reinforced by army units continued operations on Saturday sweeps intense to find an armed group that is entrenched in the mountains of the province of Sidi Bouzid . Witnesses said an arms cache beloning to this group was found in a cave in one of the mountain towns in the region.

Operations by special security units and the Tunisian army began on Frida a ranger alerted them to the presence of an armed group in the area according to press reports.

Although a National Guard official of Sidi Bouzid refused to give details of the incident , eyewitnesses said that four people suspected of belonging to the armed group have been arrested by security forces.
In December last year security forces arrested 11 gunmen after a shoot out in Kasserine.
