Truck Driver Arrested in Agadir in Possession of 589 kg of Cannabis Resin
Rabat - Policemen arrested Saturday night in the city of Agadir a truck driver in possession of 589 kg of cannabis resin, national police said in a statement. The suspect was arrested at the industrial district of Ait Melloul, the source said, adding that the banned substance was concealed inside the truck.
The 49-year-old man has lengthy criminal records, it pointed out, adding that the drug was intended for international traffic. The suspect was placed on custody, while investigations are underway under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
