Building on the success of its previous editions, the Tifawin Festival this year in its seventh edition, will pay tribute to the farming community.

 The seventh Tifawin Festival  which is being held from August 23 to 26 in Tafraout,  will be a galaxy of musical Ahouach troupes  displaying  the joy of all who love this ancient art that has perpetuated its beauty over time.
 
Ahouach Tiznit, Ahouach Guedra, Ahouach Aoulouz  will add more troupes to Ahouach women’s troupe of Zagora, Tata, and Kalaa of Mgouna Imintanout. Villagers will celebrate the art, not to mention the young troupes who would carry the torch of authenticity: ACSFLD, SAHARA STREET, Ras Derb, Irimen, Imrayn and more artists with Saadia Tihihit  and Bouchaib Abaamran.
 
This 7th edition will be illuminated by the presence of pop stars like Fatima Tabaamrant, Archach, Oudaden, Hamid Inerzaf, Abdelaziz Stati. An artist’s residency will also attend the party with Rabab Vision and Touyour Gnawa, chaired by Lamallem Abdessalam Alikan.
 
Tifawi this year will br  a very special experience because it is dedicated to rural women and their traditional "Melhaf" dress. Thus, there will be a great MEGAMLHAF "  on the evening of August 26 at Tafraout, with the participation of several female troupes in the region of Souss, to enforce Amazigh marriage customs.  This will be a wedding group who seek to encourage this sacred union.
 
During the festival, the public will attend a presentation of the play "Awal Oufella"  by the playwright Amal Ahmed, a native of the region.
 
This seventh edition of the  Tiwafi festival will also  be rich in  diverse events, education, culture and sports: the Tifinagh Olympiad, a conference about the village in Moroccan cinema, with a tribute to the writer Amal Ahmed, actor Ahmed Yazidi and journalist Abdellah Hamza.
