In a statement to MAP, after the visit to Morocco of theTunisian President, the Minister added that this visit is a prelude to the reactivation of many conventions and decisions which will contribute to the strengthening and development of bilataeral relationsand cooperation.
"It's a visit that is crucial since it comes after changes in the region which favor the stronger process of democracy," he said.
The visit to Morocco of the head of the Tunisian state has been an opportunity to launch a series of political consultations on many interesteing questions regarding the future of the region, including the Maghreb Union, relations between the Maghreb countries, and relations between Morocco and Tunisia in their various political, economic and social aspects, Minister added.
"This visit will only give new impetus to the role of Moroccans living in Tunisia and Tunisians installed in Morocco, while further consolidating the strong relationshipsalready existing between the two peoples," Mr El Otmani said.
