Success of advanced status at center of consultations between Morocco and EU's Lithuanian presidency
Vilnius (Lithuania) - Minister delegate for foreign affairs Youssef Amrani co-chaired, on Thursday in Vilnius, with Lithuanian vice-minister for European affairs Vytautas Leskevicius, the political consultations between the Kingdom and this country which assumes the presidency of the council of the European Union.

The two officials examined the agenda of the current Lithuanian presidency of the EU, the positive progress of the advanced status, prospects for developing bilateral ties and issues related to regional cooperation and the European neighborhood policy.
They underlined the exemplary bilateral ties and both countries' interest in deepening cooperation.
The Lithuanian party deemed that the multi-dimentional reforms carried out by Morocco in various areas makes it a strategic and credible partner for the EU in southern Mediterranean.
The two parties voiced eagerness to organize a Euro-Mediterranean ministerial meeting on issues of migration and development.
