The report, released on Thursday, notes that the Moroccan authorities continue to "encourage" the return to the motherland of Moroccan Sahrawis, by putting at their disposal the necessary travel documents, adding that "no Saharawi has been deprived of the right to freedom of movement.

" On the issue of the rights of refugees, the report of the State Department stressed the availability and cooperation of Morocco along with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees," to provide protection and assistance to internally displaced persons, refugees and asylum seekers, among others." The report recalls that the Moroccan government had recognized the need to establish the necessary procedures for asylum seekers, as recommended by the National Council for Human Rights (CNDH).
