Spring break: Morocco among Belgians' favorite destinations

Brussels - Morocco is among tourist destinations favored by Belgians to spend the spring break, according to data on reservations made by Belgian travelers.

Over the past weeks, a 11 % rise in the search for destinations as Agadir and Marrakech was noted.

This attractiveness is due to the excellent price/quality ratio and the sunny weather, said Jurgen De Vos from "Voyagespaschers.be" website.

According to figures by the Tourism ministry, Belgians spent in 2014 some 639,845 overnight stays in Moroccan classified hotels.
