Spanish interior minister commends cooperation with Morocco in fight against illegal immigration

The Spanish ministry, who was dedicating a coordination center for sea monitoring of coasts and borders, hailed the level of cooperation between Morocco and Spain in this field, underlining the importance of collaboration with other countries to control illegal migration flows and spare human losses.

The number of undocumented migrants who reached Spain via its coasts has decreased by 31pc in the first half of 2013, compared to the same period of 2012, the minister had previously said.
