Spain loans Morocco 25 mln euros to fund projects involving Spanish enterprises
Madrid - Spain decided to loan Morocco 25 million euros to fund projects carried out in the Kingdom with the participation of Spanish enterprises, an official source said in Madrid.
The Spanish cabinet, which convened Friday under the chairmanship of head of government Mariano Rajoy, approved this line of credit amounting to 25 million euros refundable on concessional OECD conditions. The credit line will be used to finance the acquisition of goods and services from Spain by Moroccan small and medium-sized enterprises or Spanish-Moroccan companies in sectors of mutual interest, said a statement by the head of Government's office without specifying the deadline for the credit repayment.
Morocco is one of the top priority countries in the Spanish trade policy, which is why it was decided to grant it this credit, it noted.
