Soñando Andalucía: Three Spanish artists exhibit in Casablanca

The exhibition will take place from 24 April to 19 May 2013 in the exhibition hall of the Cervantes Institute, it fits into the framework of the third edition of the Andalusian Cultural Spring in Casablanca.

Sáenz Mir has exhibited in Barcelona, Rome, Seville, Miami, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Aix en Provence, amongst others. His work is based on the observation of life and customs of Andalusia. Thus, it will create impressions and compositions for the most part with the same range of colours producing the effects of depth.

Carmen Saenz, for her part, has developed traditional techniques such as water colours, landscaping and modeling. She has exhibited samples of her work solo and with groups. In her paintings she interprets the Andalusian landscape from a figurative point of view.

The sculptor Pilar Mir, she has worked on several official restorations in Madrid, Valencia, Alicante, etc.. She has received several awards for sculpture in Spain, and was selected for the Sculpture Symposium Carrara. Specialized in carving agate, marble and stone, she sculpts unique pieces in small size for exhibitions and large public and private spaces.

"Soñando Andalucía" wants,thereby  a feminine artistic dream extolling the beauty and excellence, a Spanish dream of three artists emissaries of creativity.
