Sofia University Rector, Morocco Ambassador Discuss Cooperation Possibilities
Sofia - The Rector of the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia, Prof. Ivan Ilchev, met with Moroccan Ambassador to Bulgaria Latifa Akharbache on Tuesday to discuss cooperation possibilities, the university said in a press release.
Ambassador Latifa Akharbache assessed highly the fact that for the first time a Bulgarian university will sign such an agreement with the Regional Academy of Education and Training of one of Moroccos most promissing region, known for its economy, agriculture and tourism.

The two discussed this April's visit of Sofia University representatives to Morocco where they took part for a second consecutive year in the annual Casablanca exhibition of education and training - the biggest such event in Northern Africa.
There Bulgaria presented the education opportunities for Moroccan students in Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes.
The Bulgarian representatives also had meetings at the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Souss-Massa-Draa Region, with which a cooperation agreement will be signed.
It will allow Sofia University to carry out a large-scale research and education activity in Morocco, and Morrocan professors and students will be able to make use of the advantages of Bulgarian higher education.
