Rural area's electrification rate reached 99% up to April 2014

Answering a question by the Istiqlal group at the house of advisors, Amara said that this rate will increase to 99.7% by the end of 2017 after the completion of the electrification of 109,500 houses, 3850 villages, 4500 schools, 210 dispensaries and 1800 mosques.

 

To achieve this goal, the minister underlined that the government has taken the decision to raise the potential ceiling of houses' electrification (80,000 MAD) after meeting the necessary conditions, mainly submission by the communes of papers to prove that they have the needed financial allocations.
