Rabat, Jinan sign letter of intent for friendship partnership

The agreement, signed in Jinan by Rabat's mayor Fathallah Oualalou and Jinan's mayor Yang Luyu, provide for setting a cooperation and exchanges based on reciprocity and the principle of equality in the respective competence fields, a statement by Rabat city hall said.

These exchanges concern economy, science, technology, tourism, culture, health, education, sports, municipal basic services and strategic urban planning, with the aim of achieving development and shared prosperity, said the source.

Under the letter of intent, Rabat and Jinan also agree to share information and expertise for social and economic development and are committed to actively participate in major international events taking place in the partner city.
