Casablanca Nouaceur -. Group Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and Air France Industries announced on Thursday a new phase of development cooperation in their joint venture Aerotechnic Industries (ATI).

Founded in 2009, the joint venture owned equally by the two partners, is expanding its activities in ) cell maintenance Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG). Based in the heart of industrial facilities at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, Morocco, ATI now offers its clientsan extensive review of the A320 aircraft family and B.737NG ( the Check A to D Check) for three dedicated bays where there are more than 170 specialists.

 

Installed near the main bases of many airlines, ATI provides its services to A320 and B.737NG operating in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. It offers its customers competitive maintenance costs while benefiting from the best market standards, EASA certified.

 

On this occasion, the CEO of RAM, Driss Benhima, and the CEO of Air France, Franck Terner, announced the decision of the national airline to entrust AFI KLM E & M support the equipment fleet of Boeing 737NG, with more than thirty units.

 

Through this partnership, the RAM will benefit from the expertise and proven performance of AFI KLM E & M, which already supports more than 400 aircraft of this type in the world.

 

Speaking at the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between the two partners, Mr. Benhima expressed pride in the joint venture ATI which passes at top speed through the extension of its activities that open promising opportunities for the growth of business activities.

 

For his part, Mr. Franck Terner said he was delighted and honoured "this new brand of confidence on the part of Royal Air Maroc," a strategic partner in the region in the field of aeronautics.

 

He added: "We are excited about the development of our joint venture. Combined with the capabilities of our subsidiary KLM UK Engineering based in Britain, infrastructure enable ATI AFI KLM E & M to offer its customers a complete and close the maintenance of medium-haul fleet with the guarantee of the highest quality of service. "

 

A 50/50 joint venture between Air France and RAM Aerotechnic Industries (ATI) is the result of over 30 years of partnership. The two companies have pooled their extensive experience in the maintenance and operation of medium-haul fleet.

 

Located at the crossroads of Europe, Africa and the Middle East, ATI has adequate infrastructure maintenance for A320 and Boeing 737 New Generation.

 

With a workforce of 174 people, the company has completed 250 projects in 2012 against 92 in 2011. ATI counts among its customers, Air France ,RAM and companies from around the world, such as Air Ivoire, Air Arabia Morocco, MCAP (Mitsubishi Corporation Aviation Partner - Dublin), Senegal Airlines, Vladivostok Air (Russia) and Libyan Airlines.

 

It also offers its many customers diverse services ranging from processing Checks A heavier visits exceeding one month immobilizer checks C, or D. IL
