Program contract of 3,4 bln dirhams for the promotion of tourism in Laayoune-Boujdour-Saguia El Hamra

Laayoune - A regional program contract for the promotion of tourism in the region of Laayoune-Boujdour-Saguia El Hamra through the implementation of 21 projects with an overall cost of 3.41 billion dirhams was signed Sunday in Laayoune.

As part of the framework of 2020 Vision for the promotion of domestic tourism, the agreement was signed by the Minister of Tourism, Lahcen Haddad, the Wali of Laayoune-Boujdour-Saguia El Hamra region, Khalil Dkhil, the President of the region, Sidi Ould Rachid Hamdi, and the head of the council of Laayoune, Hamdi Ould Moulay Rachid.

This agreement provides for the creation of new projects related to eco-tourism and sustainable development, four projects aiming at sports and entertainment as well as eight other related to the promotion of the local traditions and culture.
