Pres. Alpha Condé calls for Morocco's support for developing agriculture in his country

Meknes - Guinean president Alpha Condé called, on Wednesday in Meknes, for Morocco's support to promote the development of agriculture in his country, by drawing inspiration from the philosophy of the Moroccan Green Plan (PMV) which is the result of HM King Mohammed VI's extraordinary vision.

We aspire that Morocco makes available for us its know-how in terms of agriculture development, said president Alpha during the opening of the 7th National Agriculture Conference, held under the theme "Family Farming".

Highlighting the noteworthy achievements made by Morocco in the field of agriculture thanks to the PMV, the Guinean leader said that Morocco, a brotherly and friendly country, has a very successful agricultural policy.

The 7th National Agriculture Conference is attended by prominent figures as Spanish agriculture and food minister Miguel Arias Canete, French minister of agriculture, food processing and forests Stéphane Le Foll, Saudi agriculture minister Dr Fahd Bin Abdulrahmane Bin Suleiman, Malian rural development minister Bakary Treta and Ivorian minister in charge of the agriculture department Mamadou Songafowa Coulibaly.
