Preparatory meetings held for 12th Moroccan-Saudi joint committee

Jeddah - Moroccan and Saudi top officials held, on Monday in Jeddah, meetings in preparation for the 12th joint committee which will open on Tuesday under the chairmanship of foreign minister Saad Dine El Otmani and Saudi counterpart HRH Prince Saud Al Faiçal.

Speaking on this occasion, director of Gulf department at the foreign affairs ministry Ahmed Tazi said that this session seeks to strengthen economic and trade ties between the two parties.
 
The participation of the private sector in the committee shows the importance the two countries give to developing their relation according to a strategic vision, with the aim of achieving complementarity in all fields, he added. 
 
Morocco's ambassador in Riyadh Mohamed Abderrahmane Al Bichr lauded the excellent ties of cooperation between the two countries and the good investment climate in Morocco.
 
Secretary general of the Industry ministry Mounia Boucetta deemed that starting a sea route between Morocco and the KSA will contribute to promoting exchanges between the two states and called for diversifying bilateral trade and investment.
