This exhibition brings together for the first time recent works by the artist, the public will discover his new colour palette inspired by the recent years Patrice Arnoud spent in the region of Marrakech.

The visitor of the exhibition easily recognize landscapes in the scorching summer sun punctuated by earth-coloured houses.

Jean-François Clement, who has devoted his latest book the Artist Patrice Arnold's work, wrote: "What we see in this painting might seem minimal to the limit of the decoration, the colours are more often presented in bright solids and without deep gradients. It is clearly in a post impressionism that magnifies the power of the art of the colourist, the strength of his feelings, that reality which forms part of his life. With visible brush strokes, painting becomes a central element of the array. In landscapes , dark purple, orange and green  are juxtaposed without transition, evoking pleasure, sensuality, contemplation, but also a calm opposed to violent chromatism of the house.

This painting, with its hybrid images appears obscure yet human. However much it expresses, paradoxically, very discreetly, as disturbing as the positioning of forms. "
