Obama and Romney second TV debate
The second TV presidential debate saw President Obama produce a far sharper and more focused performance against Governor Romney. The two openents attacked each other onthe economy,energy,taxation and foreign policy.

When the issue of the administration's reaction to the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi came up, President
Obama criticised Governor Romney's suggestion that the administraion may have tried to mislead the American public on whether it was a terrorist attack as "offensive" and asserted that he would never play politics on such an important issue which cost the lives of four diplomatic staff. He countered that it was the Republican who had tried to turn a national tragedy to his advantage by releasing a partisan press release about the deadly assault.
Both candidates put up a brauvura performance circling the stage and frequently interrupting each other. President Obama's stronger pitch has probably helped to pick up some of the lost ground fromthe first debate. The third and final TV debate will be on 22nd October in Boca Raton,Florida.Election day is 6 November 2012.
