Moroccan trade union leader and left wing politician Noubir Al Amaoui, called the head of government Abdelilah Benkirane, to automatically invest a veto on the transaction prepared by the French holding company Vivendi, concerning the sale of its share of the majority, the capital of Maroc Telecom.

Amaoui demanded the head of government, blocked if necessary, the sale, until the French group definitely commits itself to donate a portion of the proceeds from the transaction to Maroc Telecom's Morrocan employees.

 

According to Amaoui it "is thanks to their hard work that Maroc Telecom is worth a billion euros, which amounts to 53% of Vivendi's shares."

 

Noubir Amaoui, who sent a letter in this regard, to the head of government, as reported by the Arabic daily Assabah, explained that this approach is provided by law and comples Vivendi to pay to its Moroccan employees Moroccan for this premium sale.
