New in the Visual Arts: first issue of the Tunisian journal "Founoun Hiraf wa" (Arts and Crafts)

The cultural scene has "To help improve the arts and better present the experience on the subject, here is our first issue of the journal" Founoun Hiraf wa "(Arts and Crafts), a new creation that reflects our cultural ambition, TAP reports.

  "To help improve the arts and better present the experience on the subject, here is our first issue of the journal" Founoun Hiraf wa "(Arts and Crafts), a new creation that reflects our cultural ambition. We seek to further information on the works of artists and designers from different generations and artistic trends, "we read as an explanation of the editorial policy of this monthly bilingual publication, high quality in form and content.

In the Arab part of this issue, readers can read an article on the artist Khalil Gouiaâ and the disappeared Mannoubi Bousandal (1939-2011) and an article by Ali Lamjed Ennouri, entitled "Arabic calligraphy: aesthetics and letter of inquiry existence ". In the artist section in the memory, is a text of Ibrahim Azzabi on "Ammar Farhat, artist and man."

 The journal also publishes media coverage of the symposium held in November 2011 in Sousse on the art market and a national workshop on the coverage of young artists (session Aloulou fire Khalil, Sfax-December 2011) , also an article on the exhibition of Iraqi artists Ali Ridha Kassab Saad el Said and the Bel Art Gallery. In the French section, there are articles on Salvador Dali, the master of Surrealism, a hedge of the exposure of the caricaturist in the gallery Hassen Mechichi Lotus, a tribute to the disappeared  photographer, Anouar Ben Aissa and an article on the rights of the artist Painter. The journal also publishes numerous color photos on the design world and a 2012 portrait in words and pictures,of the musician Brahim Bahloul.

In a statement to the Agency TAP, the founder of this magazine has expressed the wish to be supported by the Ministry of Culture "to continue." He proposed that the Ministry represented, in this case by the management of public reading, bought several copies of his magazine to feed the network of public libraries and mobile libraries across the country. It also requires the application of a hard and fast law setting the grant by the state paper for culture, at 75 percent. This, he says, can offset much of the costs and boost the edition.
