New Round of Inter-Libyan Talks Kicks off in Skhirat
Skhirat - A new round of inter-Libyan political talks opened, on Thursday in Skhirat (Rabat outskirts), under the aegis of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).

These political negotiations came a week after similar talks held at the UN headquarters in Geneva, at which UN envoy Bernardino Leon said that the political negotiations on the formation of a unity government in Libya raise, at this stage, the hope of reaching a definitive agreement around September 20.

Following the last round of political talks, held in Geneva on September 3-4, Leon also stressed that "there is really a chance to find a final agreement in the coming days and we cannot afford to miss this chance".

Morocco has been host since March to a series of talks between the Tobruk parliament, the Tripoli-based National General Congress and independent figures representing civil personalities, intellectual, legal experts, business circles and women associations.
