NGO calls on UN to establish mechanisms for monitoring aid relief to population of Tindouf
Geneva - The Agency for International Development (AID) has called, on Monday, the Council of Human Rights of the United Nations (UNHRC) to establish mechanisms for monitoring and control of aid relief to the camps in Tindouf, "so that they benefit those who deserve them."

"We call upon your honorable board to set up the means and monitoring mechanisms to stop the diversion of aid by the Polisario," said the Swedish activist of human rights, Alhir Kodra , at the UNHRC plenary session in Geneva.
Mrs. Kodra also drew the attention of the UN body on the "regrettable exploitation of suffering of people, primarily women and children, for purposes of personal enrichment."
