Mubarak Close to death
Following a heart attack and stroke in Tola Prison where he was incarcerated since his sentence to life imprisonment the former president was move to the Maadi military hospital where he is in intensive care.

The official MENA news agency reported that Mubarak was "clinically dead" after "his heart had stopped beating and did not respond to defibrillation."
The Supreme Army Council SCAF issued a statement saying the he was still alive though seriously ill.Crowds gethered outside the Maadi hospital during the night. Hosni Mubarak was an all powerful president who ruled Egypt for 30 years. His dramatic fall from grace and appearance in a prison cage during his trial shook the Middle East and the ruling heads of state.It marked a turning point along with the death of Muamar Gaddafi and the flight into exile to Saudi Arabia f of Zine Abidine Ben Ali.
His deteriorating health comes as the presidential election is disputed and SCAF has issued a decree taking over control of the country.
