Over the years, corporate America has appeared in numerous movies. In some cases, characters work for real-life companies. In other cases, movies are based on real-life events - sometimes without the featured company's cooperation. Here are 10 examples of corporations in starring roles.

- "Where The Heart Is" (2000): A pregnant teen played by Natalie Portman is abandoned by her boyfriend at a Wal-Mart and hides out there as she rebuilds her life with the help of strangers.

- "The Social Network" (2010): This movie traces the founding of Facebook Inc. by Mark Zuckerberg and the legal battles he had with fellow Harvard students who claimed he stole their idea. Based on a true story.

- "The Internship" (2013): Characters played by Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson lose their jobs in the wristwatch industry and become interns at Google Inc. 042011 GMT Jun 13
