Morocco strongly condemns beheading of Japanese hostage by ISIS

Rabat - Morocco strongly condemned on Saturday the beheading by the ISIS terrorist organisation of the Japanese hostage Haruna Yukawa.

In a statement of the Foreign Ministry, the Kingdom strongly denounced this beheading as an abject and criminal act that violates universal values.

Morocco offered condolences to the family of the victim and to the Japanese government and people reiterating its steady position against terrorism while calling for liberating the second hostage without conditions.

Morocco also called on the international community to intensify efforts with a view to combating all forms terrorism.
