Morocco, special partner for Guinea, President Alpha Condé
Conakry - Guinea considers Morocco as a "special partner", said Guinean President Alpha Condé, stressing the countries' long-standing relations that date back to the time of the late King Mohammed V and President Sékou Touré who were the founders of the Casablanca group, which led to creation of the Organization of African Unity (OAU).

"Morocco and Guinea complement each other. Morocco has the know-how, human resources, and technology, while Guinea has significant resources, especially in mining and agriculture," said the head of the Guinean State in a statement to MAP. He stressed that Guinea wishes to establish a "strong" partnership with Morocco, adding that Morocco and Guinea must "move to the next level" in their cooperation.
