Morocco set to boost trade with Muslims countries
Casablanca - Morocco is committed to strengthen its trade and commercial ties with Muslim countries, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy, in charge of Foreign Trade, Mohamed Abbou, said on Monday in Casablanca.

Speaking at the opening of the 7th Consultative Group of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Enhancing Intra-OIC Trade, Abbou stressed the need for implementation of the OIC ten-year Programme to address future challenges and boost trade between member states.

The Minister pointed out to the remarkable increase in trade between OIC member states, adding that Morocco is among the first countries to have launched the Global System of Trade Preferences.

In additions to officials and experts from the OIC member states, the meeting brings together participants from several regional and international institutions and bodies including the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the International Trade Centre (ITC).
