Morocco's top tourist hub attracts record number of visitors in 2017

RABAT, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's top tourist destination Marrakech closed 2017 with a record number of 2.5 million tourists, which increased 20 percent compared with 2016, local media reported on Tuesday. The city registered 7 million nights spent for tourism purpose, up 18 percent from 2016, reported financial news site Medias24.
