Morocco's reforms are a model to follow in the region, Speaker of Italian senate

In a meeting, on Monday in Rabat, with the Speaker of the House of Advisors Mohamed Sheikh Biadillah, Grasso noted that his visit to Morocco, his first abroad since his election as speaker of the Italian Senate, is motivated mainly by the structuring reforms that were carried out in Morocco, making it a model in a region rocked by changes, said a statement from the House of Advisors.

This choice is also the fruit of the excellent relations between the two countries, said the head of the Italian Senate, quoted by the press release, adding that the wisdom and will of His Majesty King Mohammed VI have immunized Morocco against the changes that took place in the region.

At the bilateral level, he noted with great satisfaction the development of cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural fields, hailing the role played by Morocco and Italy to restore the influence of the Mediterranean area.
