Morocco's experience in field of energy highlighted in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa - The successful experience of Morocco in the field of energy was highlighted on Thursday in Addis Ababa, during the second high-level meeting of the Africa-EU Partnership for Energy (AEEP).

Morocco has made significant results in rural electrification with a rate exceeding 98 pc, with a proactive approach and a comprehensive rural electrification program that involves all stakeholders, said Mohammed Taoufik Adyel, general engineer in charge of the economic and legal studies desk at the Department of Energy and Mines.
He said Morocco is willing to share its experience in the field of rural electrification with other African countries. Regarding renewable energy, Adyel recalled the launch by the Kingdom of a number of ambitious solar and wind energy projects with a capacity of 2,000 megawatts by 2020.
