Morocco's Net International Reserves Rise by 27.4 pc Until February 19th

Rabat - Morocco's net international reserves amounted to MAD 233.5 billion until February 19th, 2016, recording a 27.4 pc increase on an annual basis, Bank Al-Maghrib said.
The reserves recorded a 0.6 per cent weekly increase, the central bank pointed out in its weekly indicators.

During the week of February 18-24, 2016, the central bank injected MAD 11 billion.

Over the course of this period, the interbank rate remained unchanged at 2.5 pc, while the average exchanged volume remained at MAD 2.1
billion.

During the same period, the dirham appreciated by 0.45 pc against the euro and depreciated by 0.7 pc against the dollar.
