Morocco's Hassan El Oubaddi Wins San Silvestre Marathon in Spain
Madrid - Moroccan athlete Hassan El Oubaddi on Thursday won the 42nd San Silvestre Marathon in the city of Beasain (Basque Country, Northern Spain).
El Oubaddi crossed the finish line in a time of 27min01sec, ahead of Kenyan Mike Kimutai Sang (27min05sec) and Moroccan Jouad Chemlal (27min06sec).
In the ladies' category, Moroccan Kaoutar Boulaid came first clocking 34min27sec.
More than 400 professional and amateur athletes participated in the 42nd San Silvestre Marathon.
