Morocco's GDP grows 4.3 percent in second quarter

The High Planning Agency said on Tuesday its expects the Morocco's GDP to grow at 4.2 percent in the third quarter, but revised down the 2013 GDP growth to 4.4 percent from its earlier estimate of 4.8 pct.

Morocco's first-half trade deficit narrowed by 5.3 percent from the same period in 2012 to 97.53 billion dirhams as the country's imports decreased 3.2 percent because of the economic slowdown, especially in the non-agricultural sector which grew at only 1.8 percent.
