Morocco's Foreign Ministry to Launch International Toll-free Phone Number to Listen to Claims of Moroccans Living Abroad
Rabat - Moroccan Foreign Ministry will launched next Monday an international toll-free telephone number to listen to the claims of Moroccans living abroad, related notably to consular services.
In pursuance of the High Royal instructions contained the Royal Speech of the 16th anniversary of the Throne Day in which the Sovereign stressed that "in any event, communication and interaction should be improved and services made more readily available to citizens, while procedures should be simplified and upgraded, and human rights and dignity preserved", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation will launch as of Monday, August 17, an international toll-free number (00 80000002015) for members of the Moroccan community living abroad to receive their claims related to consular services provided by various consular missions abroad, the ministry said in a statement.
This international toll-free number will be operational as of August 17, from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the time zone of Morocco, and will involve, initially, France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Spain, England and Italy, the statement pointed out.
The ministry will also set up a cell in charge of monitoring and treating the claims and taking the necessary measures.
