Morocco keen to step up participation in Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly- Parliament Speaker
Strasbourg - Lower House Deputy Speaker Mohamed Yatim expressed on Thursday in Strasbourg Morocco's interest in strengthening its participation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

Yatim, who was speaking at a meeting with President of PACE Anne Brasseur, recalled the partner for democracy status enjoyed by the Moroccan Parliament at the PACE, saying that the Moroccan delegation aspires to step up its participation in PACE.
In this regard, he stressed the need for a revision of the regulations and the terms of the partnership with the PACE.
For her part, Brasseur praised the Moroccan delegation for their quality participation in the PACE's Plenary and Committees.
Brasseur also said that she will visit Morocco to discuss the means to further promote the special partnership with the Moroccan Parliament.
