Casablanca - Morocco has all necessary prerequisites to develop its industrial sector, said representative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Morocco Jaime Moll De Alba Cabot.

In Morocco, all the necessary prerequisites are available to develop the industrial sector especially infrastructure, universities and a vocational training system, Jaime Moll De Alba Cabot told MAP following the 4th Conference of Green Growth Academy held on Tuesday in Casablanca.

The UN officer highlighted efforts made in terms of technical training to ensure the success of enterprises, underlining that inclusive and sustainable industrial development is implemented by the 2014-2020 Moroccan plan for industrial acceleration to make the industrial sector a main lever of national growth, by creating effective ecosystems to foster the integration of value chains and the consolidation of ties between leading enterprises and SMEs.
