Morocco fully supports efforts to reach political settlement in Libya
Berlin - Morocco fully supports efforts made to reach a political solution to the crisis in Libya with the participation of all Libyan parties, said, on Tuesday in Berlin, minister delegate for foreign affairs Mbarka Bouaida.

In a statement to MAP after her participation in a meeting of UNSC permanent members, Germany, Italy, Spain, the EU and the UN, the minister underlined that the meeting is aimed at backing the talks process between the Libyan parties attending its 5th set held in Skhirat.
Bouaida added that the participants in this meeting, in which took part UNSG emissary for Libya Bernardino Leon and German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, voiced their support for the Inter-Libyan talks in Skhirat. She expressed Morocco's wish to see these negotiations reach a final settlement leading to the formation of a national union government.
Morocco has an unbiased position on this issue, calls for solutions based on stability and security and urges all Libyan parties to adhere to the talks process, she added.
Morocco deems that any non-negotiated solution that does not include all parties can not serve the interests of the Libyan people, she noted.
