Morocco, first country in Africa to host ICN yearly meeting on April 22-25

Rabat - Morocco will host the 13th annual meeting of the International Competition Network (ICN), one of the most important international events that are organized for the first time in Africa and highlight the various issues related to competition, said Thursday in Rabat, President of the Competition Council, Abdelali Benamour.

The Council which organizes this 13th meeting, from April 22 to 25 in Marrakech, will focus on the theme of public enterprises and competition, along other issues related to the market economy and competition, he said at a press conference on the event.

This international meeting will bring together over 500 participants representing over 120 countries, that is more than 120 organizations of competition, he added. Representatives of international institutions, namely the OECD, UNCTAD, the EU and the World Bank, in addition to leading experts in economy and law, will also attend the event.
