Morocco enjoys exceptional model to share in terms of political stability, Official

The choice of Morocco to host this event is not arbitrary. Morocco, as an emerging country, is an exceptional model to share and promote in terms of political stability and pertinence of economic choices, Bouaida said at a press conference to present the Summit's program.

The organization of this major event, held under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI under the theme ""Harnessing the Power of Technology for Innovation and Entrepreneurship", shows the excellent ties between Morocco and the USA, she said, noting that holding the Summit in the Kingdom is in line with the goals of the strategic dialogue between the two parties since 2010.

For Nizar Baraka, head of the economic, social and environmental council and economic coordinator of the Morocco-USA Strategic Dialogue, this summit is of paramount importance as it enables Morocco, first African country to host such event, to boast its capacities as a regional hub.

US ambassador to Morocco Dwight L. Bush said he was glad that the event will take place in Morocco, hoping that the American delegation will be led by US vice president Joe Bidden.
