Morocco autonomy plan, 'credible starting point' to reach solution to Sahara issue, president of friendship group in Croatian Parliament

"We support Morocco's efforts (...) to reach a solution to the Sahara issue," she told the press, following talks Tuesday in Rabat with speaker of the House of Representatives, Karim Ghellab, noting that "the plan is a credible starting point" to reach a solution to this issue.

The talks also discussed the possibility to sign soon a partnership agreement with Morocco," she said, adding that "Croatia attests to Morocco's leadership role in the region."

The Croatian official also said the meeting discussed the need to bolster bilateral relations, expressing wish to further deepen economic ties between the two countries.
