Morocco and Senegal sign 5 cooperation agreements

Dakar - Moroccan foreign minister Saad Dine El Otmani and his Senegalese counterpart, Mankeur Ndiaye, signed, Monday in Dakar, five cooperation agreements at the end of the 14th session of the high Moroccan-Senegalese joint commission.

The five agreements cover cooperation in the field of security, an administrative arrangement between the ministries of transport of the two countries, the recognition of driving licenses of citizens of both countries, the implementation programme of cultural and educational cooperation agreement for the years 2013-2015, and a memorandum of understanding between Senegal and Morocco in the field of the management of the affairs of expatriates.

The holding of the 14th session is part of the implementation of the instructions of HM King Mohammed VI and HE president Macky Sall, who wish that cooperation be raised to the level of the excellent brotherly and friendly relations between the two countries.

Following the session, El Otmani was received by Senegalese President Macky Sall.
