Morocco and Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation sign MoU on water management
Daegu Gyeongbuk (South Korea) - The Moroccan delegate ministry for water and the Prince Albert II of Monaco foundation signed on Tuesday in Gyeongbuk (South Korea) a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in water resources management and preservation.
The agreement was signed by delegate minister for water, Charafat Afilal, and the foundation's secretary general, in the presence of HH Prince Albert II of Monaco, on the sidelines of the 7th world water forum (April 12-17).
The two sides undertake to intensify and develop cooperation in water resources management and preservation, integrated management of water resources, risk-management and adaptation to climate changes, as well as in protecting and preserving these resources in their natural environment and in fragile areas.
To this end, Morocco and the Foundation will conduct joint training sessions, develop skills and exchange of information, documents and visits of experts. They will also set up a technical commission to formulate an executive cooperation program, follow up and evaluate joint activities.
