Morocco: Salafists demonstrate in several cities against the TV channel Medi1

Salafists have observed sit-in protests in front of numbers of mosques in several cities of the kingdom.

The reason for the anger, the newspaper Al Massae reported, was a popular program chain Medi1 TV.

The show is called Al Masrah Jarima 'crime scene', it is a concept taken from shows in American police reality television concocted from the Moroccan sauce.

The program has had its first episodes aired and is counted among the successes hearing, the chain Medi1 TV.

Except, it started to arouse controversy when its final episodes aired and took as subjects, terrorist attacks, which involved Salafist detainees.

Quickly protests by Salafi movements and their civilian supporters, began spreading.

Members of the joint committee for the defense of Islamist prisoners and families of some Salafists prisoners, convicted under the anti-terrorism law, strongly protested against the chain, accusing it of defaming Salafists, because their names are the issue, expressly mentioned and definitely implicated in the facts which they are innocent.
